About the project: The Church Hagia Paraskevi was originally built in the early byzantine period and rebuilt in the 13th century. In the 19th and 20th century extensive repairs were executed due to the damages caused by earthquakes.
In 2007 we carried out work in order to restore the monument and to reinforce the wooden roof, which included its retiling, local grouting, temporary outer bandaging and strengthening of the wooden trusses with a lifting system.
